Dan and Tatiana are getting married In Mammoth!

Meet Tatiana and Dan,  they are R-A-D RAD!  Both of them are Adrenaline junkies.  From riding dirt bikes, to downhill mountain biking, to being a trauma nurse, they both live extreme lives. Knowing this information, I was super excited to meet them and do an engagement session.

We went to a the Huntington gardens, sooo beautiful. Honestly I hate to play favorites but I think I can confidently say this was my favorite engagement location. Its hard to find nature in So. Cal. now a days. And they are sticking to the "beautiful Nature" theme for their wedding. They are going to have it in the woods in Mammoth! Its going to rock!

Tatiana and Dan, Candice and I wish you the very best! we are so excited and thankful to be apart of your wedding.

The "Get Brooked" event -written by the Wife.

Hello everyone, this is Mark Brookes wife Candice, I just wanted to post a quick blog for mark about our upcoming "get brooked" boat party. There is one coming up next week, and we are super excited to meet those of you who are coming. We really wanted to invite more people (cuz we love all you peps) but our boat would literally sink! So if anyone would like to be invited to the next "Get Brooked" event please email us your contact info and we will keep you posted. Thanks again for all your support. Mark and I feel soooo stinken blessed to be a part of this photography community. Here are some pictures of our rockin water parties.

Here I am, and yes the freckles are real.

Here is our boat, it has a pirate flag, because we are cool like that. And because I like to make all our passengers sing yo-ho yo-ho a photographers life for me.
as you can see it has a similar feel to the "jungle cruse" boats at Disney land...So I usually will say something stupid like "and here we are folks, this is your chance to see the back side of a water fall".
I would love to see you all on our next "get Brooked" voyage, so send us an email with your contact info. p.s. can you guess what photographers are on this trip? it will be very tricky because they are all facing the wrong way. It like someone said "smile", and they all refused.

** A special prize to the Person that guesses correctly!
(sorry no prizes for the photographers in the picture, because thats just cheating, but we love you, so that should be enough).

Kelly and David

Kelly and David are seriously sooooo BAD... but, bad as in good, not bad as in bad!  We decided to do an engagement session that was totally them.... When I first met them they explained that they met in VEGAS, which was awesome! It was love at first sight. They are both basket ball players and both enjoy each other from the bottom of their hearts.

When Kelly and David showed up at the shoot they were well prepared to mix special memories into the pictures. David proposed with a basket ball, obviously this had to be used in the shoot. And they brought a magnet that said vegas, as well as bracelets to mix into their engagement shoot. I love when couples have those "special moments" and they choose to remember them forever.

Kelly and David, thank you for choosing Candice and myself to be a part of your special day! See you August 1st... Booyah!

Mary & Heber (the "H" is silent): Engagment

This past week i had the opportunity to hang out with Mary and Heber!  It was so RADICAL! They are so much fun to be around!  I think i had the most funny photographer client experience yet! Heber's name is pronounced EHH-BER (with a silent "H")! I had no idea so for the first half of the day i was calling him HHHHE-BER. My wife was so kind to inform me... ohhh, after I had pronounced the "H" in his name about 10,000 times! Needless to say we ALL had a good laugh!

Mary and Heber are a very unique couple. They do not wear jewelry, do to their beliefs. That means there was no engagement ring! Though, they put their own little twist in to it. Heber gave Mary a nice watch instead. I LOVED it! It really brought me back to the simplicity of what the meaning of an engagement ring was: Not to have the Flashiest piece of jewelry you can find, but rather, a reminder of your love for each other.

Mary and Heber, you two are Seriously AWESOME! I can't wait until, May 17th!!!!
