Maria and Raymond: E-Session

Maria loves to Smile

Raymond loves to make her smile

Maria loves her son

Raymond loves taking care of her and her son

Raymond loves Maria

Maria loves Raymond!

This past week we shot an engagement session for Maria and Raymond. They are out of this world RAD. That morning started with Mark and I a little down in the dumps about a few things, noting big, just one of "those mornings"...but the minute we showed up to the E-session and saw Maria and Raymond all Shnazed up, we started leaping with excitement. We love it when our clients are into their E-session as much as we are!

Raymond and Maria have been dating for over 10 years! They are perfect for each other. They make each other laugh, and you can tell they feel completely safe in the other persons arms.

After their totally "badical/radical" shoot we headed for a sushi dinner together. The restaurant was amazing. It was on the 12th floor over looking down town LA. It was beautiful! Over dinner we discovered that Raymond and Maria are not just clients, they are extremely awesome friends! We had a blast talking about who we are, and finding out who they are.

Thanks guys for spending the day with us! We had a RAD time!

Jessica Claire's B-day with the Brookes

One of my newest but bestest/greatest friends is Jessica. We see each other almost every day, and we always bust up laughing every time we are together! She is such an amazing person, she's hilarious, kind, giving, athletic, rad....She is such a blessing in my life......

Any ways...it was her Birthday this week, so Mark and I were super excited to plan an ALL day B-day bash for the young, beautiful Miss Claire. Our day started off with a harbor cruise in the duffy. Our destination was a Mexican restaurant with great margaritas.

Our second stop was the batting cages. Jessica and I have always talked about how we should join a softball team, so this was our opportunity to practice our butts off. The next day we were all extremely sore. Probably because we were hitting 70 mph pitches.

We ended the day with a trip to the mall, two block buster movies, cupcakes, and dinner. It was such a fun day!  Happy b-day jessica!!!!

T + S In love session with Candice

So, like many mornings we are privileged to meet with "newer" photographers in our area. We usually get the email saying, "hey i am a new photographer, can I take you out to coffee". And usually we can fit it into our schedule. We L.O.V.E  doing these meetings. They are super fun, and we get to know new people who are interested in the same things we are.... camera's.  This morning we met with Emily and her husband. During the meeting I found myself saying the same sentence over and over again, so I thought I would share this simple, but pivotal point in the conversation.  Emily asks,  "how did you get to where you are today?" I reply (candice), practice. We take over 1000 photos a week, on our own time. If we don't have a payed gig (wedding, E-session, Boudoir) that week we will set up shoots with friends, or family members. Mark and I ALWAYS have a camera in our hands, or at least we try!"  Probably to most you readers this is an obvious statement, so my question is why do we not all do this?

It is so hard to find the time to take 1000 pictures a week, but i had to make time. And it actually turned out easier then I had expected with all the client appointment we had lined up.  I wanted to share a shoot I did this past week for some great friends of ours from Oregan. They are super duper cute, and they can model like nobodies business. Here are a few of my 1000 images from this week......

In love session with Candice....

Brian is a CPA
Erica is almost a CPA
Brian loves twister
Erica Met Brian playing Twister
Erica has beautiful blond curly hair
Brian is in love with Erica
Erica loves Brian

This week I did an IN LOVE photo shoot for one of my clients. Brian and Erica are new friends of ours. We met them this year because Brian is our CPA. Which by the way he is an amazing CPA/bookkeeper. He saved us $8,000 this year, and found mistakes that Marks old CPA had made, he is honestly amazing.

Brian Met Erica in College playing twister with his Dorm. They both went to Chapman University, and both of them were working on becoming CPA's. Ever since they met with their legs and arms all twisted up on a dotted mat they have been crazy for each other.  And their love story is growing every season :)

Thank you sooooo much for letting me be apart of your love story -candice

riding the waves...yeahhhhh

So this past week we had a blast entertaining people on our parents duffy bout (a duffy is a small bout, but, its just as cool as the jungle cruise bout at D-land).  Amelia and justin have been our great, great, great, friends ever since the day we bumped into them. And maybe even before that when everyone was saying that Candice looked identical to this "amazing photographer" named Amelia.

We have done so many rad date nights, family outings, Sundays, and even fathers day together! Justin and I are working on a top secret project that will be reveled shortly... No hints for now, sorry. I promise that you head will explode when we do... so the wait is well worth it!

Later that night, i went to download the pictures from my card and there were only these 4 pictures.....  what a bummer!  So here they are enjoy 'em!!!!!

**since i lost all of mine...i grabbed these off of Amelia's blog**

My camera was out of reach so i grabbed Amelia's and basically held down the shutter button to capture Hudson going ape-s**t on the duffy pillows!!!!!!!
